This notice is provided pursuant to Article 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 (Personal Data Protection Code) to individuals interacting with the web services accessible electronically at the following address:

This notice applies only to the site in question and not to other websites that may be consulted by the user via links.
This notice is also based on Recommendation no. 2/2001, adopted on May 17, 2001, by the European data protection authorities (gathered in the Working Party established by Article 29 of Directive 95/46/EC) to define minimum requirements for the online collection of personal data—specifically regarding the methods, timing, and nature of the information that data controllers must provide to users when they connect to web pages, regardless of the purpose of the connection.
The Recommendation and a summary of its objectives are available on other pages of this site.
DATA CONTROLLER
Data concerning identified or identifiable persons may be processed following consultation of this site.
The "Data Controller" is Everest, based in Mantua (MN), Italy.
PLACE OF DATA PROCESSING
Processing operations related to the web services of this site take place at Everest and are carried out solely by technical staff from the department responsible for processing, or by persons assigned to occasional maintenance operations.
No data derived from the web service is communicated or disseminated. Personal data provided by users submitting requests for information, photographs, quotes, orders, payments, and other items (including catalogs, videos, newsletters, annual reports, responses to inquiries, etc.) are used solely for the purpose of fulfilling the requested service or task and are disclosed to third parties only when necessary for that purpose.
TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED
Browsing data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, certain personal data the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.
This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server's response (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters regarding the user's operating system and IT environment.
These data are used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its proper functioning, and they are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain liability in the event of hypothetical cybercrimes against the site; apart from this possibility, web contact data do not currently persist for more than seven days.
Data provided voluntarily by the user
The optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of emails to the addresses indicated on this site entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address—necessary to respond to requests—as well as any other personal data included in the message.
Specific summary notices will be progressively displayed on the pages of the site set up for particular services upon request.
COOKIES
No personal user data is acquired by the site in this regard.
Cookies are not used to transmit personal information, nor are so-called... persistent cookies of any kind—that is, systems for tracking users.
The use of so-called session cookies (which are not stored permanently on the user's computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to enable the secure and efficient browsing of the site.
The session cookies used on this site avoid the need for other IT techniques that could potentially compromise the privacy of user browsing and do not allow for the acquisition of personal data that would identify the user.
OPTIONAL NATURE OF DATA PROVISION
Apart from what has been specified regarding browsing data, the user is free to provide the personal data listed in request forms or otherwise indicated in contacts to request the sending of information material or other communications.
Failure to provide such data may make it impossible to fulfill the request.
For the sake of completeness, it should be noted that in certain cases (not part of the ordinary management of this site), the Authority may request information pursuant to Art. 157 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 for the purpose of monitoring the processing of personal data. In such cases, a response is mandatory, subject to administrative penalties.
PROCESSING METHODS
Personal data is processed using automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected.
Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use, and unauthorized access.
RIGHTS OF DATA SUBJECTS
The individuals to whom the personal data refer have the right, at any time, to obtain confirmation as to whether or not such data exist and to be informed of their content and origin, to verify their accuracy, or to request that they be supplemented, updated, or rectified (Art. 7 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003).
Pursuant to the same article, data subjects have the right to request the deletion, anonymization, or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, as well as to object, on legitimate grounds, to their processing.
Requests should be addressed to the Data Controller.
